This is the website for the Philatelic Youth Council (PYC) of New Zealand. The Council's mission is to promote Youth Philately throughout New Zealand and to encourage youth stamp collecting and exhibiting in general.


The PYC manages and moderates national achievement awards for youth philatelists from bronze to gold level. It also publishes a quarterly Fun Philately newsletter.


PYC sponsors a stamp camp each year for youth club members who are looking to advance from stamp collecting into stamp exhibiting.

PYC Stamp Camp - 2017

PYC and the camp organisers are once again pleased with the results of the 2017 Stamp Camp. Philately and fun were combined over a week with the campershaving a good time catching up with friends while at the same time expanding or starting a new philatelic exhibit.

PYC Stamp Camp ran from the 9th to 15th July, at the No. 4 Squadron, Air Training Corps Headquarters, Dauntless Lane, Ardmore Airfield, Papakura. It was another successful camp with 12 children and 1 adult attending and working on their exhibits.
