PYC Office holders and Executive - 2022

The PYC is the controlling body for its own Philatelic Achievement awards and has a close association to the New Zealand Philatelic Federation in regard to the Youth Philatelist of the Year award as its members are direct recipients of this award.

Who and what is the PYC ?

The Philatelic Youth Council of New Zealand (PYC) Incorporated was formed in 1985 by the New Zealand Philatelic Federation to promote  Youth Philately in New Zealand.  The PYC now stands alone as an independent entity but maintains a special relationship with the New Zealand Philatelic Federation.

The PYC is a non-profit organisation that relies on the donations it receives from stamp collectors and other interested organisations. The rules the Council are contained in the Constitution of the PYC which can be found on the New Zealand Philatelic Federation website.
